Aftercare · Microblading
Microblading week one: is it supposed to look this dark?
Yes. In week one, microblading looks darker and bolder than the healed result because the pigment is fresh and the skin is reacting. This is normal and temporary. By week three the color softens by thirty to fifty percent into the natural, hair-like brow you were shown in the healed portfolio.

What healed looks like
Past the flaking stage
It is easy to panic mid-heal when the color looks patchy or dark. Do not judge the result until the skin has fully settled. This is the healed brow you are working toward.
While it heals
Do this, not that
Do
- Trust the process, it lightens
- Keep the area clean and balmed
- Message the studio if you are worried
Do not
- Do not judge the result in week one
- Do not exfoliate the brows
- Do not book a correction elsewhere yet
Due for a refresh?
Keep it crisp, book a refresh
